10 Driving Lessons
Our Learner’s Licence + 10 Driving Lessons + Driver’s Test package is designed for students who need learner’s licence support, practical driving training and driver’s test assistance. First, we assist with your learner’s licence test booking. Then, you complete 10 Driving Lessons with a qualified instructor.
In addition, we provide transportation to the DLTC for booking confirmation and your learner’s licence test day. As a result, you receive support throughout the process.
Learner’s Licence and 10 Driving Lessons Package Includes
Learner’s Licence Preparation
- K53 Study Material – First, we provide study resources covering road signs, rules of the road and vehicle controls.
- Online Tuition – In addition, our online lessons help you understand K53 requirements and prepare for the test.
- Learner’s Licence Test Booking – Next, we assist with arranging your test booking.
- Transportation to the DLTC – Furthermore, we provide transport to confirm your booking and on test day.
- Second Test Attempt – If you do not pass your first attempt, a second attempt is included, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
- Step-by-Step Guidance – Finally, we support you from preparation through to test day.
10 Driving Lessons
The package includes 5 practical driving lessons with a qualified instructor. During your lessons, you will practise:
- Vehicle control
- Steering and stopping
- Moving off and changing gears
- Observation and road awareness
- Lane positioning
- K53 driving techniques
- Practical test preparation
Furthermore, lessons are scheduled as 2 lessons per day to help you make steady progress.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off
In addition, we provide pick-up and drop-off for each driving lesson within selected areas. Therefore, you can focus on your driving training without arranging separate transportation.
Driver’s Licence Test Support
Once you are ready, we assist with your Driver’s Licence Test booking and provide the necessary test-day support.
This includes:
- Driver’s Licence Test Booking
- Use of a driving school car on test day
- Transportation to the DLTC to confirm the booking
- Transportation on the day of the test
- Second test attempt if you do not pass the first attempt, subject to the applicable terms and conditions
Furthermore, the second attempt includes one additional test booking, driving school car use and transportation, provided the second attempt is booked through Kasong Driving School.
What the Student Must Bring
For the learner’s licence process, please bring:
- Original South African ID and a clear copy
- R108 Learner’s Licence booking confirmation fee
- R65 Learner’s Licence issue fee after passing
- Two ID photographs
- Eye test certificate, if available
For the driver’s licence test, please bring:
- Original ID or passport with a valid visa or permit
- Proof of residence not older than 3 months
- Two ID photographs
- R228 Driver’s Licence booking confirmation fee
- R228 licence issue fee after passing
- Eye test certificate, if available
Please note: DLTC fees are not included in the package price. In addition, a R30 yard fee per lesson is payable in cash at each lesson.
