Our Learner’s Licence and Driving Lessons package gives new drivers a convenient way to prepare for both their learner’s licence and driver’s licence. First, we help you prepare for your learner’s licence test. Then, you receive practical driving lessons to develop your skills before your driver’s licence test.
This package suits students who are starting from the beginning. In addition, we provide booking assistance, transportation, and test-day support. As a result, you can follow a clear process from learner’s licence preparation to driver’s licence test preparation.

- Learner’s Licence Test Booking – We assist with arranging your learner’s licence test booking.
- Transportation to the DLTC – We provide transport to the DLTC to confirm your learner’s licence booking and on your test day.
- 5 Driving Lessons – You receive 5 practical driving lessons with a qualified instructor.
- Pick-Up and Drop-Off – We provide pick-up and drop-off for each lesson within selected areas.
- Driver’s Licence Test Booking – We assist with arranging your driver’s licence test booking.
- Driving School Vehicle – You can use the driving school vehicle on the day of your driver’s licence test.
- Transportation for the Driver’s Licence Test – We provide transport to the DLTC to confirm your booking and on your test day.
- Second Test Attempt – If you do not pass your first driving test, we provide a second attempt, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
🚗 5 Driving Lessons in Pretoria
First, you will complete your lessons with a qualified instructor. Next, you will practise important driving skills and prepare for your driver’s licence test. Lessons are scheduled as 2 lessons per day, helping you make steady progress.
Furthermore, your instructor will help you improve your vehicle control, road awareness and practical driving skills.
📋 What the Student Must Bring
Before starting the process, please make sure you have the following:
- Original South African ID and a clear copy
- R108 Learner’s Licence booking confirmation fee – Pay this directly at the DLTC.
- R65 Learner’s Licence issue fee – Pay this after successfully passing the learner’s licence test.
- R228 Driver’s Licence booking confirmation fee – Pay this directly at the DLTC.
- R228 Temporary Driver’s Licence issue fee – Pay this after successfully passing the driver’s licence test.
- Two ID photographs
- Eye test certificate – This is optional. Alternatively, you can complete the eye test at the DLTC free of charge if you do not have vision problems.
⚠️ Please Note
All DLTC-related fees listed above are excluded from the package price. Therefore, the student must pay these fees directly at the DLTC.
In addition, a R25 yard fee per lesson is not included in the package price. The student must pay this fee in cash at each lesson.
